The conveyor diversion plough (plow) was developed and is used to create a secondary circuit on any fixed mining conveyor. It is able to remove or divert any unwanted material from a carry belt.
Nov 25, 2002· The plow must be set at an acute angle to the belt <30deg, and if diagonal for one side only diversion, it will be long, and even then a kind of standing wave developes with the material, causing spillage off the wrong end. Also at the belt edges there is gap equal to the belt thickness where material escapes.
A diverter plow (or diversion plough) is an apparatus that can be fitted to a conveyor to redirect or discharge the material at an alternative location between the tail and head end of the conveyor. There are many different applications in which a diverter plow can be used.

Conveyor Belt Water Diversion Instructions Divert water off low traffic road surfaces. Conveyor belt water diversions are intended to divert water off road surfaces and reduce erosion caused by flowing water that's trapped in wheel ruts. They are built by bolting a 15" tall piece of recycled conveyor belt to 2x6" treated lumber.
The Lift Bed – Diverter Plow™ is a pneumatically operated impact bed that lifts the conveyor belt from full trough to zero (0°) into a stationary diagonal plow. The urethane diagonal plow, which includes two Spring-Shoc™ tensioners, enables the lift bed to apply the proper tension and not pinch or damage the belt.
